Oh my goodness, Boston! What an absolutely incredible trip. As a history buff and a foodie, this city truly blew me away. From cobblestone streets to bustling modern markets, Boston has a unique charm that makes it an unforgettable destination. If you’re planning a visit, here’s my ultimate guide based on my recent adventures – complete with prices and all the must-know details for an ideal travel experience!

Getting Around: Smooth Sailing from Logan!

Arriving at Logan International Airport (BOS) was a breeze. For budget-conscious travelers, the Silver Line (SL1) bus is FREE directly from the airport terminals to South Station, where you can easily connect to the MBTA subway («the T»).

Around the City: The MBTA («the T») is your best friend. It’s an efficient subway and bus system. I highly recommend getting a reloadable CharlieCard or a CharlieTicket for convenience. A single ride is about $2.40. If you’re staying for a few days, a 7-day pass for around $22.50 is a fantastic deal. Boston is also incredibly walkable, especially downtown and along the Freedom Trail, so wear comfy shoes! Taxis and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily available but can add up, especially from the airport (expect $30-50+).
